National Gathering

This weekend I was in Aberdeen for LGBT Youth Scotland's annual meet-up, to celebrate the achievements made by LGBT young people this year. Lots of fun was had, and many new friends were made, including some of the Israeli young people here on a visit. I love it when I meet people from other countries, I get to learn so much :)
We had a disco, with the theme of 'your hero'. I mostly did face painting at that, since I'm not much for dancing :) Much fun. And I took part in a workshop about board breaking, where we looked at our issues and the things holding us back, and then smashed through the wooden board with our hands. It was empowering, and I felt exhilarated :)
All in all, a good weekend :)
