She spins round in the thick pink coat, throws one end of the long, soft, white scarf over her shoulder and laughs. It rather suits her, really. She tucks her long blonde hair behind her ears and smiles broadly at her reflection. This should do for today’s exploration, she reckons.

A soft choking noise behind her makes her turn, and the smile drops from her face.

The Doctor stands at the door to the wardrobe room, his face pale against the dark leather of his coat, one hand shaking against the doorframe.

He looks like he’s just seen a ghost.

Sorry! To clarify, the outfit Rose is wearing was worn by someone who travelled with him in the past who is now (probably) dead. It is very likely she was on Gallifrey when it 'sploded, cos she was President at the time. So the Doctor is spooked by blonde wearing familiar outfit.

Wow! Yeah, I imagine he would. (At least it wasn't the iconic schoolgirl outfit, though.)

Now I'm going to be thinking in tangents of, "Yes, but are the clothes dimensionally transcendental, too? They're definitely not the same size." ;p

I kinda wanted to use that outfit, but I couldn't see Rose picking it out outside of a fic rated above my comfort zone :o) I figured the pink coat was the second most iconic.

I bet the clothes fit whoever picks them up :o) Or there are multiple copies of outfits in various sizes. And I would point out that Tom is very tall so it's a comparison thing, but I know someone who worked with Lalla, and it turns out she really is tiny :o)
