Twenty-eighth drabble for the doctorwho_100 challenge. Bit of an angsty one today, cos I felt sorry for Leela.

Spoilers: Gallifrey 1.4 onwards (none for series 3)


Leela dashes angry tears from her eyes and curses her weakness. Though she has mourned him, she still feels pain. It is hard not to, with the constant reminder of what she once had taunting her every day. Why must he be so persistent? Why must he torment her with his presence, his traitorous face? It is hard enough living in this society of closed minds, of two-faced backstabbers, without her own husband becoming one of them. He is not Torvald anymore, neither is he truly Andred.... Who, then? She doesn’t know him at all, nor does she wish to.

No, clearly you don't :o) I did warn about the spoilers. You need to listen to Gallifrey - I don't like politics but I'm enjoying it, that's how good it is. Of course, by reading the drabble you've just ruined the reveal at the end of series one...

I don't understand it either, but, as since watching The Invasion of Time I'm a firm Andred/Leela shipper, aww

Heh, listen to the audios. It'll complicate your little shipper mind :o) Either you'll hate Andred or you'll like him even more. And if you do listen to them, try to forget this drabble. *grins*
