Yes, I agree with you on that; he left because of type-casting or something (although Dead Ringers did a brilliant sketch on an alternative reason that he left: Trekkie parents - although I am living proof that Trek and Who are not incompatible) but he wasn't very... Well, at the moment Tennant says it's the best job in the world. And he does all those tv appearances. As far as I know, Ecclestone didn't.

But I still prefer Nine over Ten *hides* Sure, Ten can be fun, but I'm looking forward to his maniac giddiness being a little more subdued this year (hopefully). I hope the rambling rants don't go away though. But delusions of godhood and invulnerability are not good, especially when you're hyper. And besides, Nine's manic moments were more infectiously happy, I think. I never wanted to slap Nine for being happy. Ten on the other hand... well, Donna did that for me :o)
