I've never heard "Exile," but now I want to. Mwahaha, mission accomplished :o)
Man, it was difficult to find info on early morning telly. I was 13 in 2000, when this fic is set! I vaguely remember some of the programmes, but not enough to be anything more than vague, to avoid anachronisms. I really wanted to include 'Come Outside', which is about an old lady and her dog flying around Middlesex in a tiny plane and learning how stuff is made and such, but it finished in 1997, so I couldn't :o( But I remember the general educational stuff well enough to know that that's the type of stuff they taught you then :o)
Anyway, thanks for the lovely comment, I'm happy that you enjoyed it (and will now search out 'Exile') :oD
