The world is wrong.
Apr. 8th, 2007 10:12 amPrivate Eleanor Dlugosz, the beautiful smiling young woman in smart uniform on the front of yesterday's Times, was among the four killed in Basra the other day. She was a nurse. Not a soldier. She was my age. She looks so proud.
Every time I see that picture on the front of Friday's Daily Mail, the one of the happy Iranian crowd waving debris from the bomb blast that killed those four - every time I see that man grinning and waving a helmet that could be the one Joanna Dyer was wearing in her picture - every time I see that young boy smiling and holding out the twisted piece of metal - I feel sick.
