I'm delighted that you like it :oD I was terrified when I found out I had to write for you, me being a little fish and all and it only being my first ficathon, but now I'm glad I did because it seems I came up with the goods :o) It seems a little pressure and a bit of "oh dear god I'm writing for a BNF" will inspire me to write stuff like this :o) (and before you start protesting non-BNF-ness or anything, I'd like to point out that you have 75 fics and I have 8 and a bunch of drabbles - so you can see why I was so anxious *grins*)
The game of Snap was one of my favourite parts to think up and write. I now want to own those playing cards :o) And yeah, the pirate crew... I dunno, they kinda wrote themselves :o) Once I got their names and species type down, they just kinda took over :oD Ett was a particular favourite of mine - noncorporeal energy beings are such fun!
Oh, and I swear I didn't look at your interests list before I picked the Anethans to be my 'innocent captives' :o) But I'm glad that 'niiiiimon' is one of your interests, because then that works out very well :o)
Anyway, I'm very very glad you like it, and I look forward to reading your ficathon entry when it's done :o)
