Ah, poor naive wee Adric. I'm rather fond of him, so I loved writing that scene. I wrote it at work, so my supervisor was giving me very weird looks by the fifth time that I'd re-read it and dissolved into giggles again. I've never laughed so much at my own stuff. It helped that I was a bit spaced on sleep-deprivation and Relentless when I wrote it :o)
It was a careful balance of not saying too much and yet saying enough that everything makes sense (to a certain degree) *grins*
