Re: end of Torchwood - I'll investigate that later. (Just occurred to me, Jack was running from the main entrance, which means he couldn't use the invisible lift cos the TARDIS was on it - what would happen if he had just lowered the lift? *grins*)
Briefly: Ten left Jack behind because he is something that should not exist - but he does. It makes Ten uncomfortable. There have been many who wanted immortality, but the Doctor's always said they can't have it - not just cos he says so, but because they can't. Now Jack is immortal, but he shouldn't be. But cos it was the Vortex, he is. It's wrong, so I think Ten was just trying to ignore that fact, avoid him and leave him to his forever-life. Does that make any kind of sense?
And no, I don't watch the Confidentials, they tend to spoil the magic for me. But I'll take your word for it :o)
Now I must go eat food and birthday cake (before midnight or everything will be wrong) and watch the rest of Destiny of the Daleks with Adam, so enjoy your squeeing :o) *hugs*
